Keeley Soccer

Keeley's soccer is FINALLY done for the summer. Her team lost 2-1 and then won 5-3. They did not get enough points to advance from pool play into the championship game. The parents are glad to have 5 days off before tryouts begin. Yes that was only 5 days OFF!!!!

Good News

Kieran is doing wonderful. She is awake and moving her right side. The left side is not moving as well though. She has started to talk, pretty quiet though.

It was nice to see her smile!!

Bad News for the Winter Family

My Brother Scott had two children that were in a car accident on Monday am.

Estrella (age 16) has been released from the hospital. She does have a sprained wrist, severe concussion and a broken part off of the L3 vertebra.

Kieran (age 13) is in a coma with a lacerated spleen, punctured lung, bleeding in the brain and a scattered pelvis.

It's Official

Brian has pulled out of Ironman this September.

He has not had enough time to train, to busy hauling kids all over the place with a wife in school!

Sad and tough decision, but I think a smart one for this season.

Another Gymnastics Superstar

Taylor got her round off backhandspring at gymnastics last week!!! She is very excited!!

Duluth Soccer Tournament

Keeley's team won the Lake Superior Soccer Tournament!

It was a fun weekend in Duluth with a lot of soccer. My niece Kieran played U14 and my sister Deb's team played U15. I am sure Julie and Ed are soccered out for awhile!!! We had a great time. Enjoyed spending time with the team and their parents along with both sets of grandparents!

Happy 4th!!!!

We had a great 4th of July. We hope you did too.

Started the AM watching some Tour De France coverage followed by a long bike ride just Brian and I. Picked up the girls for an additional 10 mile ride. Got home to a dog that had somehow locked the front door. So got on our bikes again and road over to my parents to get the extra key that they have.

Quick showered to head out on to the lake for a fun filled day with some friends! Back to change and eat some dinner, then back out on the lake for some fireworks!!!!!

Fun Busy day!!!!!!

Drive In

Brian and I took the girls to the drive in on Thursday night. YEAH no work or school on Friday. We got to see Ice Age 3 and Night at the Mueseum 2.
