Busy Weekend

Taylor had her second gymnastics meet. She really improved over her first meet!!! We went straight from her meet to a soccer game. Thank Goodness for Jimmy Johns for subs between!!! Keeley had a game during Tay's soccer meet. Life with these two never gets boring!!

Taylor's First Gymnastic Meet

Taylor's first gymnastics meet was this past weekend in Steamboat Springs. She had a great weekend. Got 1 blue ribbon (9.1 on Vault), 2 white ribbon's (7.8 on Beam and Bars) and one yellow ribbon (6.1 on Floor).

Beam done and she got a 7.8 with missing her wendy dismount. She will be solidly into the 8's once she hits that!!

Floor done (look at that smile at the end!! )
Vault done (She rocked the vault and got a 9.1) Welcome to the 9.0 Club Taylor!!!!



Bars done (She was most worried about this event, but she rocked it and got a 7.8 with missing her front hip circle. She will be unstoppable once she gets it!!)

Yeah meet done and Taylor got her FIRST Gymnastics medal!!!!!

Hiking in Steamboat Springs, Loveland and Frisco

Labor day weekend we hiked in the mountains. On Friday on our way to Steamboat Springs we hiked up Loveland pass (3 miles) up to the ridge. We were able to see Keystone and Breckenridge Ski areas. On Saturday after Taylor's gymnastic meet we hiked around and down the mountain in Steamboat Springs (4.8 miles) and then on Sunday on the way home we hiked on 10 mile range trail we only hiked 4 miles of it.






Our Gymnast found a beam even on the river by our hike.
